“The cabins are set in the heart of the countryside. Wonderfully quiet, with no planes overhead or sound of cars. There are lots of lakes near by and there are plenty of little villages and towns a short drive away (Montelucon is beautiful). The place itself was great, with a good sized pool and plenty of space to take a walk. Graham kindly gave us some eggs (they have chickens) when we arrived and his family were friendly and accommodating. We’ve already booked a return visit.”

Gîte tranquille, avec des propriétaires sympathiques. Excellent ciel pour observer le ciel profond, avec une possibilité de stockage du matériel proche du lieu d’observation. Piscine, jeux de pétanque, et autres mis à disposition. Bon séjour, avec beaucoup d’observations réalisées”
“What a wonderful place to stay. Absolutely gorgeous cottages set in a stunning contryside. Perfect for families or couples looking to escape and relax. We stayed with kids for 7 nights. We arrived late (after 9pm) which was not a problem at all. Our cottage was very clean and nice with everything we needed for our stay, incuding private bbq area outside. Very nice pool with pool-toys for children, swings and outdoor games, different boardgames, books and even DVD-s for those rainy days. There are many interesting attractions in the area, just a short drive away. We visited wolf sanctuary and giant maze in Gueret. Montlucon is a beautiful medieval town and closest village Jarnages will show you the real french life in countryside. Shops and supermarkets are not far away either. We had a folder in our cottage with lots of information about local area which we found very useful. Graham and Sian were lovely hosts ensuring we have everything we needed for our perfect stay. Bottle of wine on our arrival was a lovely touch. At the end we didn’t want to leave. I definitely recomend these cottages and I am sure we will be back.”
“Très agréable surprise pour un séjour en famille avec 3 enfants de 16, 13 et 7 ans dans cet endroit tranquille et arboré. Hôtes accueillants et très disponibles. Lodge très bien équipé avec des petites attentions : boissons d’arrivée, sachets de thé et café + petits ventilateurs. Propreté impeccable y compris pour la piscine et ses abords. Sur le plan des visites, il y a de quoi s’occuper chaque jour. Je recommande cet endroit.”
“Le séjour à été génial. Les installations sont parfaits pour des vacances avec la famille ou les amis. Le logement est agréable et confortable, le jardin est grand et avec plein des jouets pour les enfants. La piscine est très propre. Le hôte est très attentif et toujours à l’écoute. Nous recommandons et nous espérons y retourner!”
