- If the booking is made within eight weeks of the start of the letting period, the whole of the rental payment is to be submitted with your booking form.
- If the booking is made prior to eight weeks in advance of the letting period, a rental deposit equal to 25% of the total rental cost is to be submitted. The balance of the rental cost is due no later than 8 weeks prior to the start of the letting period.
- If a cancellation is requested more than eight weeks in advance of the letting period, the balance of any monies paid, less the rental deposit, will be returned to you. If the cancellation is requested less than eight weeks prior to the start of the letting period, in addition to the deposit, in the event the lodge cannot be re-let after the cancelled period, we reserve the right to retain the balance of any payments made.
- Telephone and e-mail bookings will be honoured for 14 days, after which time, if the appropriate deposit has not been received, the booking will be cancelled.
- If the balance of the letting cost (after deposit) is not received eight weeks prior to the letting period, the booking will be deemed to be cancelled and the lodge re-advertised.
- The number of people occupying the lodge may not exceed the number of persons stated on the booking form (max 6 persons).
- Sub-letting or re-assignment is strictly forbidden.
- All persons occupying the lodge under this agreement hereby agree to keep the property, all fittings, furniture, equipment and other contents in a like state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the letting period. Any damage, breakage or loss must be notified to the owners immediately.
- The rental fee for the lodge includes rates, lodge insurance, electricity & gas for the duration of the rental. The property is equipped with crockery, cutlery, sheets, duvets, linen & towels (not to be used as pool towels).
- Access will be available from 4pm on the date of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the date of departure.
- No smoking is permitted at any time within the lodges or within any other building on the premises or within the pool area. Smokers are requested not to leave butts in the grounds, please use the receptacles provided.
- The site and pool are unsupervised. The owners have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the site and pool are a safe environment. The swimming poll is 1.4m in depth throughout. Young children should be accompanied by an adult at all times within the pool area. The pool is open from 9.00am to 6.30pm or sunset, whichever is the sooner.
- The owners shall not be liable to you or any member of your party for any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused at the la Coterie Lodges or within its grounds, or through use of equipment or facilities, unless due to the fault or negligence of the owners. In addition, the owners shall not be liable for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of Public Services, nor in respect of any temporary defect in equipment or appliances within the lodges, grounds or swimming pool, nor for any loss, injury sustained beyond reasonable control of the owners.
- You are advised to arrange your own travel/holiday insurance to cover yourselves, your party and personal belongings for the duration of your holiday.
- French law will take precedence in the event of any claims and any legal proceedings will be managed and held at Gueret.
The receipt of your booking confirmation & deposit will be deemed as acceptance by all members of your party of the above Terms & Conditions.
